History
After practicing law in the private sector for thirteen years and then serving for twelve years as the Vice President and General Counsel of Banyan Strategic Realty Trust, a publicly traded real estate investment trust, Robert Higgins started his own law practice in 2003. Specializing in real estate transactions and real estate related matters, the business grew into a thriving boutique law firm, known as Higgins Law Office. In 2017, Michael R. Brancheau was elevated to partnership and the firm became known as Higgins & Brancheau LLC.
Higgins & Brancheau LLC serves a wide variety of clients including a major Chicago national Bank, the public employee pension fund of a state government agency, a national shopping center owner, a national industrial property owner, a statewide pension fund, national and local owners of large office buildings, a Chicago based apartment and townhome developer, and various businesses and entrepreneurs.
