Robert G. Higgins

Robert has over forty years of experience in the practice of law, with an emphasis on real estate, business transactions and litigation. After spending thirteen years in private practice, Robert served for twelve years as the Vice President and General Counsel of Banyan Strategic Realty Trust, a publicly traded REIT. In 2003, Robert formed his own law firm, which is now known as Higgins & Brancheau LLC.

In addition to his national experience in commercial real estate, Robert is a seasoned litigator, having tried numerous real estate related matters to conclusion in recent years. Robert combines a keen knowledge of the law with a practical business oriented approach to consistently bring about results that benefit his clients.

Michael R. Brancheau

Michael began working for Higgins Law Office in May of 2012 as a summer associate. After a very successful internship, he was hired as an Associate in August of 2013. He was elevated to partnership in 2017. Michael specializes in commercial real estate transactions and development. Michael has represented institutional investors, REITs, real estate developers, lenders and private investors in a wide variety of transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, land acquisition and development, real-estate backed lending, construction financing, 1031 exchanges and sale leaseback transactions.
